timr allows you to map you entire company structure in timr. You can map specific company areas, departements, and many more.
1. Create an organization
Go to the menu item "Administration" in the tab "Organization". Click on "Add Element".
Define a "Name" and if desired, insert a "Description".
Click on "Assign Leaders" to define a department leader, division manager, and so on. The list of all employees opens and you just choose the desired users.
The selected leader is automatically also a member of the organization. You can simply remove the leader from the member list, then he will be only the leader of the organization. The leader has the overview of all time trackings of the organization and can evaluate the members. The members track their times of the organization track their times. To add a new member, click on "Assign Members" and choose the desired employees.
1.1. Add Sub Organization
You can add to each organization any number of sub organizations. Click on the small white wheel right next to the organization and choose "Add Subelement".
Insert all Organization data and assign leaders and members. The leader of the root organization "Production" is automatically assigned to this sub organization, please note that he is shown greyed out.
1.2. Assign organizations in the tab "Users"
When you add a new user in timr you can already assign this user to organizations.
In addition, you see in the tab "Users" at a glance all assigned organizations of each user. Click on the small blue wheel on the left side of the employee, choose "Edit user" and choose the tab "Organization" in the user properties dialog. You see here all already assigned organizations and you can remove them there or add new ones.
2. Assign Tasks to Organizations
Every task can be assigned in addition to users also to organizations. Just click on "Assign Organizations" and choose the desired organizations.
3. Reporting of Organisations
The leader of an organization can create reports for all employees that are assigned to this organization no matter for which tasks they are tracking time.
3.1. Overview in the Dashboards
The leader of an organization has at any time the overview about all employees of the organization in the dashboards.

3.2. Reporting of Working Time
You can filter in the tab "Working Time" for organizations and you will get all working time entries of all to the organization assigned users. More information about the working time reports is available here.

4. Time tracking for an employee
As a manager it's not only possible to report time for employees but also to track time for them.
4.1. Tracking Working Time for an employee
Click on "Add Time° in "Reports/Working Time" to track working time for an employee.
4.2. Tracking Project Time for an employee
Click on "Add Project Time° in "Reports/Project Time" to track project time for an employee.
4.3. Tracking Drive Log for an employee
Click on "Add Drive Log° in "Reports/DriveLog" to track mileage for an employee.
