NOTE: At the moment the new leave request features are only available in the timr web application. For now it's not possible to request leave in the timr smartphone apps. If you try to record a working time type via the timr smartphone app for which a request is necessary, this record won't be saved. (You won't receive an error message!)
1. Request leave
In order to request leave go to "Requests > Vacation & Absence" and choose "+ Vacation & Absence" in the top right corner.
You can now request your leave
As soon as you have requested your leave, you can view your request in "Requests > Vacation & Absence. As long as it's not approved it will be listed as "requested".
If your boss/administrator approves your request, it will be shown as "approved".
2. Change leave request
In the "Requests > Vacation & Absence" menu you can see all your requests - whether they still have the status "requested" or they have been already approved or rejected.
If you want to change a request there are different options.
2.1. Extend vacation with status "requested"
If your leave request has not yet been approved, you can change it any time according to your needs.
2.2. Extend already approved leave
In case your leave request has already been approved and you want to extend your vacation you can simply add a new request.
2.2. Completely change already approved request
In case you want to change an already approved request you have to request a cancellation first.
You have the possibility to add the reason for your cancellation request.
Afterwards you add a new leave request according to your needs.
3. Calendar view
In the calendar view you can see all your requests - whether they still have the status "requested" or they have been already approved or rejected.
