You can still make corrections in the time account after a period has been closed, for example, correct the time account balance if you pay out overtime or enter additional vacation. To do this, click either on "Correct time account" to change the time account balance, or on "Correct vacation" to change the vacation account.
1. Correcting time account
If you want to correct the balance on the time account, you have several options.
1.1. Individual correction - deducting or crediting of hours
In the field "+/- ... hours" enter the number of hours that you want to deduct or add.
1.1.1. Paying out hours
For example, if you pay out 20 hours, enter -20:00 hours. The hours paid out are deducted from the total balance.
1.1.2. Crediting hours
If you want to credit hours, enter e.g. + 20:00 hour. The credit hours are added to the total balance.
1.2. Action buttons for paying out/deducting hours
You have the option of correcting overtime using action buttons. You can easily pay out the last balance, the current balance or the total balance. A corresponding comment is automatically inserted as a note.
1.2.1. Paying out total overtime
To pay out total overtime click on "Paid with date" at "Total". A corresponding note is automatically inserted.
1.2.2. Paying out current balance
If you only want to pay out the current hours accumulated, click on "Paid with date" under "Current period". A corresponding note is automatically inserted.
1.2.3. Deduct unauthorized bonus hours
You can deduct unauthorized bonus hours by selecting the "Not arranged" option under "Current period". A corresponding note is automatically inserted.
1.2.4. Paying out old balance
You have the option of paying out the bonus hours from the last balancing alone by clicking on "Paid with date" under "Last period". A corresponding note is automatically inserted.
Afterwards your changes will be shown in the time account.
2. Correcting vacation balance
To make corrections concerning vacations click on "Correct vacation", enter the amount of vacation time you grant your employee additionally and click on 'Save'. You also have the option of jotting down a note.
Your changes will be shown in the time account.
Employees only have access to their own Time Sheet and are not able to make any changes.
