Note: This article describes how to book absences if no request functions are activated in your timr account and employees are allowed to enter absences independently. For information on how to enter absences within the request functions please refer to our documentation on requesting leave on the web.
1. Recording Your Time Off
Via "Recording/Working Time" employees can now record vacation, sick leave, etc. All they have to do is entering the required data via “+ Vacation & Absence'.
Attention: You can record time off only with the unit (half day or day) which was prefixed for the chosen working time type.
It is possible to make a record for a planned vacation, for example. Additionally, there is the possibility to simply enter the date of the beginning and the end of a vacation. timr will automatically record the required vacation time.
2. Entering Time Off for an Employee as an Administrator
As an administrator you can enter time off for your employees in "Reports/Working Time" via “+ Vacation & Absence”.
Here you choose the user (= employee) and at “Type” you choose the type of time off you want to enter, for example, vacation.
Attention: You can record time off only with the unit (half day or day) which was prefixed for the chosen working time type.
