With the new time tracking feature, it is possible to start and stop working time and project time together in the web application with a single click. It is also possible to change the project time and/or working time from this view.
If you only use one function, i.e., only record working time or only project time, you will also benefit from a more modern and clearer design with this view.
Please note: This feature will be activated for the entire account, i.e. all users. App Users will also automatically receive the new feature from then on.
1. Activation of New Time Tracking

Click on “Administration”/“Settings”. In the "General" tab you will find the field "General". Activate the new time tracking here.
Please note: This automatically activates the Timeline feature as well. More information on this feature can be found here.
Complete project time recording
If you activate this feature, attendance times and project times can only be started and stopped together. This means that the ratio between attendance times and project times is always 100%. It is of course still possible to change the project time while the attendance time is running.
2. Functions
You will now find the new menu item “Time recording” in the recording area.
Here you can now select the desired working time type (marker 1) and the appropriate task (marker 2). You can also change the start time (marker 3) if you have the authorization to do so.
By clicking on “Start” (marker 4), both working time and project time are now started together.
If you only want to record the working time, you can also deactivate the project time by clicking on the “Include project time” slider. This will only start the working time.
As soon as the recording is running, you can change it (marker 1), stop it (marker 2) or delete it (marker 3). If you move the mouse over the respective button, you can select whether you only want to change the project time or the working and project time together.
You can also edit the end time here (marker 4) if you have the authorization.
Below the recording section you will find the display of the daily, weekly and monthly work status, as you are used to from the working time recording.
The daily and weekly timeline also gives you a quick overview of the work you have done.
3. Overview Video
In this video, we show you how to activate and use combined time recording. Unfortunately, the video is currently only available in German.
