The Flextime Indicator is designed to help users, team leaders (extended authorizations) and administrators to visualize the current status of the time account.
Simple color visualization in the traffic light system makes it quick and easy to see which users have exceeded certain thresholds of plus and minus hours.
By being able to check the plus and minus hours at a glance, compliance with working time regulations in the company should be simplified and the administrative workload reduced.
1. Configuration
You activate the Flextime Indicator in the working time rules. To do this, go to “Administration”/“Working time rules” and edit the desired rule using the three blue lines.
Switch to the “Flextime Indicator” tab. Here you have the option of entering fixed or percentage values.
For example, if you use a working time rule for both full-time and part-time models, the percentage setting is recommended. The hourly threshold is then calculated on the basis of the weekly planned working time in the working time model.
You can define a threshold for both plus and minus hours. If, for example, you want to switch directly from green to red for minus hours as soon as the threshold is reached, you can simply skip the yellow area.
As soon as the Indicator is activated, it becomes visible for all employees with the defined working time rule.
2. Review of Overtime
2.1. View for Teamleaders/Administrators
The administrators have an overview of all Indicator values, or in the case of team leaders, the values for their team, under “Current balances”.
2.2. View for employees
Employees can now see the category in which their current time account balance falls under “Time & leave account”.
Note: The Flextime Indicator is not yet visible in the apps, we will expand this in the upcoming weeks.
