2. Configure drive log reports
1. Drive Log
For the drive log in timr you can make advanced settings in your timr account in the menu "Administration/Settings" in the tab "Drive Log".
1.1. Recording time
The "Recording time" setting is a very important option for you as an entrepreneur. Here you can define whether your employees can independently change the drive log recording or that only the administrator can make changes here.
We recommend that you set "Recording time" = "Changeable by user" for at least the first 2 weeks. During this time, employees can get used to recording trips with timr. Especially in the beginning it sometimes happens that an employee notices only at 8:30 am that he did not press "Start" when starting the trip at i.e. 8 am. He can correct this himself and does not have to rely on the help of an administrator.

Note: Every modification of the entries is marked with the pencil symbol. There is no possibility to manipulate an entry without getting marked the change.
1.2. Show all Cars
The option ‘Show all Cars’ allows you to choose whether employees see only their assigned cars (‘No’) or all cars (‘Yes’).
1.3. Allow Drive Log Recording via Mobile App
By default, this setting is activated, drive log recording is possible via the mobile app. If all employees should only record drive log times via the web app, for example because they do not work on construction sites, then you can disable the recording via the app.
1.4. Location tracking in the Drive Log
The timr app on your smartphone can track your location if it is available. If activated, the position for the start and end time is tracked. (No live tracking!)
In the settings of your timr account you can define general rules for position tracking. There are several options available, for example, you can define that location tracking is mandatory. Per default location tracking is disabled.
You can find further details about these settings in our help center article about Settings for position tracking.
2. Configure drive log reports
If you would like to see the time displayed in the logbook reports, activate the "Show time" option under "Administration/Settings" in the "Reports" tab.
Under "Reports/Drive Log" you can filter for the desired trips and via "Print/Export" export the report including the times.
