In the recording menu you see all 3 features of timr at a glance (Marker 1, 2, 4):
Marker 3: timr offers you the possibility to start the Working Time- and the Project Time Recording in one step.
In the tab bar you see an overview of the timr App.
Marker 5: The actual status is shown in "Recording". On this screen you can see what's currently active in your timr, if you're recording your time and if you've started the drive log.
Marker 6: The Dashboard gives you an overview of your hours and vacation balance as well as project time per current day, week and month.
Marker 7: With timr you can create analysis and reports on the go. Please refer to our article Reports and Analysis for more information regarding the timr reports.
Marker 8: If you need to add tasks quickly on the go, you can use the "Add" feature.
Marker 9: You can also change your settings, extend your account or send a feedback in the "More" menu.
1. Mileage tracking in real-time
1.1. Start the Drive Log
Marker 1: Choose a car.
Marker 2: The start mileage will be automatically suggested by timr or you can edit it manually.
Marker 3: You can choose if it is a business trip or a private trip.
Marker 4: If you're authorized you can edit the Start Date and the Start Time. timr automatically suggests the current time but you can adjust the Start Date and Time.
Marker 5: It's possible to add the name of the task you are at this moment tracking project time for as purpose for your trip. This way you can later filter in your reports for this task and can take a look at all trips for the task.
Marker 6: Press "Start" to start timr mileage recording.
1.2. Stop the Drive Log
This is an example for a running mileage recording. You can pause, stop or delete this recording by pressing on it.
Marker 1: The car can't be changed.
Marker 2: If you are authorized to, you can edit the Start/End Date and Time before you Stop the running recording.
Marker 3: You can edit the start and end mileage.
Marker 4: You can insert your route, like: Munich - Vienna.
Marker 5: You can add a "Purpose", for example: Meeting with Costumer.
Marker 6: You can define which person/company/... you've visited, for example: Delta Inc, Mr. Doe. Also, it's possible to add the name of the task you are at this moment tracking project time for as purpose for your trip. This way you can later filter in your reports for this task and can take a look at all trips for the task.
Marker 7: You can define if the trip was a business trip.
Marker 8: When you click "Stop", the mileage tracking will be stopped.
Marker 9: You can delete the ongoing drive log record.
2. Add drive log records at a later time
If you have the permission to do this, you can add records later on in the timr App. You can do this via the + symbol.
