In the mobile app, you have the option to record working time and project time together. We are currently working on making the recording of working time and project time more intertwined and offer 3 setting options as a preliminary stage, two of which are public beta.
1. Central configuration via the web application
1. Central configuration via the web application
If the recording mode has been specified by your administrator, an individual setting is no longer possible.
Information on central configuration by administrators can be found here.
2. Set the recording mode in the App
In the tab bar select "...More" (1), in the next window tap "Settings" (2), then select "Recording Mode" (3).
In the following window, select from the 3 options:
2.2. Mode Combined working and project time (Public Beta)
2.3. Mode Strict working and project time recording (Public Beta)
2.1. Mode Classic
In the classic setting (1) you have the greatest possible freedom to record times. You can flexibly choose whether you want to record only working time (2), only project time (3), or working time and project time together (4). Project time can also be recorded here without working time. Even during the joint recording of working time and project time, the working time or project time can be stopped variably.
2.2.1. Start recording in Classic Mode
To start Working Time and Project Time at the same time, press "both".
After that you can select the working time type and the task for time recording:
Marker 1: Choose a Working Time Type.
Marker 2: Select a Task.
Marker 3: You can change the start time and start date here if you are authorized to do so (see point 2 user rights). timr automatically suggests the current date and start time.
Marker 4: Press "Start" to start working and project time based on the given information.
2.1.2 Stop recording in classic mode
Here you can see an example of combined work and project time recording. To pause, save or discard both recordings, press the icon on the right edge of the screen.
You can (if you are authorized to do so) make numerous changes for both the working time and the project time before you stop them.
Marker 1: In the working time area you can change the working time type, original time and note (4). If you press Stop (marker 3) afterwards, your changes will be saved.
Marker 2: In the Project Time area you can change the project and start time (5), add a note (6) or access the last used notes (7). These changes are also saved by pressing Stop (marker 3).
Via marker 8 you can change the end time of the recording. This end time then applies to both the working time and the project time.
2.2. Combined working and project time mode (public beta)
In the Combined working and project time (1) setting, you can choose to record only working time (2), or working time and project time together (3). Working time is mandatory in this mode, project time is optional.
You can also start working time without project time in this mode, but you cannot record project time without working time.
2.3. Mode Strict working and project time recording (Public Beta)
In the Strict working and project time recording setting (1), only joint recording of working and project time (2) is possible. You can switch projects during recording.
While the employee is logged on an absence time type, no project can be booked.
