In general, the timr App is in sync with the Web Application if you've connected them. However, you can also track your time and enter records in the timr App if your smartphone is offline. The synchronization process will then start when you are online again.
1. Checking the Sync Status
You can check the sync status of your timr app by clicking on the menu tab "...more" (1) and then on "Sync status" (2). In the following window you will see details of the synchronization status (3).
2. Trigger Synchronization Manually
If your smartphone is offline and you have recorded times in the timr app that are not yet synchronized with the web application, you can see this by a red number in the "...more" tab. In the following example, the red number shows you that 2 entries have not yet been synchronized.
When you're online again the timr App normally automatically starts the synchronization process. You'll note this when the symbol starts to rotate and the red numbers disappear.
However, it's possible that your iPhone doesn't immediately starts syncing when it has a connection again. In this case you can manually trigger the synchronization by tapping the sync symbol with the red number. Now you can start the synchronization with "Synchronize".
Note:
If there are unsynced timr entries you can also see this on the home screen of your smartphone by looking at the timr icon. If you notice a red number next to the icon then there are unsynced entries.
