One of the new features of the iOS 17 version is standby mode. This makes it possible to display various widgets on the screen in standby mode. You can also add the timr widget there. This means you always know at a glance how long the recording has been running.
To activate this feature, proceed as follows:
1. Standby mode is activated as soon as the smartphone is connected to a power source and placed upright in landscape format
2. The timr widgets are available in 2x2 format - so you can add them to the view whereever there is space for two widgets
3. Long tap on a widget such as the clock or calendar
4. Then select timr in the apps
5. Now select whether you want to set up the widget for working time, project time or drive log
6. Add the widget via the plus button and you can now see at a glance how long the recording has already been running.
